HELLO friends! How are you all doing today? TODAY I’ll be sharing 3 cozy outfits for Thanksgiving using the same base…
so smart right?!
Okay, I’ll stop being so obnoxious. I usually write these posts late at night, and…well…
I should probably be in bed.
Anyway…
I came up with the idea for this post because I was thinking how easy it would be to pack for a weekend at my parents for Thanksgiving if I just built outfits around the same base all weekend.
I figured if I was able to style them in 3 different ways, no one would really notice I was wearing the same clothes all weekend!
So that’s what I did. I took a very basic turtleneck sweater, and a pair of skinny jeans (you guys know I’m not a huge fan of skinny jeans, but I’m trying to be better about styling them for you guys because I know pretty much every woman has a pair of skinny jeans lurking somewhere in their closet).
With that very basic base in mind, I tried to style three very different outfits so that:
a. there’s a look for everyone here, and
b. you really could pack this one base and end up with an entire weekend’s worth of outfits.
SO without anymore chatter (you know I’m good at that), let’s get into my 3 cozy outfits for Thanksgiving!

Bracelet is part of a set and was gifted. Wearing my true size in everything (you can find my measurements here)

Bag and shoes were gifted. Wearing my true size in everything.

Bag was gifted. Sherpa jacket is an old H&M thrift store find so I linked some similar options I like.
Well that’s all I’ve got for you guys today! I hope you found this helpful… I figure with everyone’s Thanksgiving plans likely being very chill this year, the idea of packing light is more appealing than ever (at least to me!), and a good pair of skinny jeans and a sweater are all you really need to cozy up with family (or you could just stay in loungewear… that’s cool too!).
I hope you all are having a great week!
Until next time,
Karin. New follower here and these looks are amazing! So fresh and you *can’t* tell at all they spring from the same base. The shoes change the look expertly, it’d make most do a double-take. I’ll be doing more bingeing of your posts (and hope to find some wisdom on motherhood. I’m a brand new mom to a 5-week old boy). Happy Thanksgiving and Holiday Season, however weird it may be. #2020
