My cardigan was gifted from Sezane
Cardigan (M) | Jeans (26) | Flats (old from Doen) | Earrings | Bag | Necklace
Happy Monday friends! I hope you all had a good weekend. This is the first weekend in a long time that we had very little to do and it felt so good. Just what we needed!
Last week, Sezane released their second wave of fall releases and I decided to finally try the iconic Gaspard jumper. I’ve been hemming and hawing over this cardigan for the longest time… years I think! I’ve had it in my cart so many times, and then never ended up committing, but recently I saw one of my style icons wearing the Gaspard, but sized up a few sizes and I loved the effect! And then I saw this pastel pink color in their latest release… that’s all it took!
This color is just SO poppy and pretty! It’s that perfect shade of cotton candy pink, and it instantly sweetens up any outfit. Perfection. I also have to say that now that I’ve tried the Gaspard in this pink color, I’m already thinking I need it in a neutral as well. I’m very sorry I waited so long to try it because it is a beautiful cardigan. It’s SO soft and warm, and it drapes so perfectly. It’s light enough to tuck in, but it’s also really nice untucked.
I love it styled like this with a pair of vintage inspired denim, loosely tucked, and unbuttoned a bit for an every day look, but this would also look gorgeous tucked into a pair of white jeans with a pair of heels for a dressier look. It’s such a versatile sweater and the quality is honestly so beautiful. The little details like the delicate ribbing, the white buttons, and the fact that the sleeves stay rolled up make it feel extra special.
I went up to a size medium to get this more undone fit so I would definitely suggest sizing up for a similar look. If you want a more traditional cropped cardigan fit then I’d either size down or stick with your true size.
Well that’s all I’ve got for you guys today! I hope this was really helpful for you… hopefully you don’t wait as long as I did before trying out the Gaspard. 🙂
Have a good week friends!
Until next time,
