As soon as August rolls around, I’m really not super interested in buying hot weather clothes any more… and since realistically we’ll still have another couple of warm weather days I’m also not super interested in buying cold weather clothes either. It’s kind of this weird transitional time where I’m at a bit of a lull with my shopping. It’s not a bad thing either! It’s nice to have built in times during the year where I’m saving my money for a new season and doing a bit more planning and reflecting. That’s the space I’m in right now (fall wishlist coming soon!).

That’s why I love pieces like this sweater tank from Sezane, it’s the perfect transitional piece that I can wear now when the weather is warm, but it’ll also be great come fall under a blazer, cardigan, or jacket. I love that it’s muted color palette also works across the seasons. The blue is that perfect in between shade that works with summer and autumnal colors. And the details… the little scallops at the arms, the square neckline… you guys, this sweater tank makes me so happy. 🙂 I know Sezane is famous for some of their more statement type pieces (and for good reason!), but I always find their more subtle pieces like this tank to be the ones I reach for over and over again. Statement pieces have their place, but there is nothing like a trusty tank like this one that you can wear repeatedly until it feels like an old friend.

Well that’s all I’ve got for you guys today! I’m excited for the start of August and I’m happy to share that I’ll have lots of fall content coming in the next few weeks so make sure to check back! And if you want to check out my other Sezane reviews, you can browse them here.

Until next time,

Karin
