Sweater (M) | Pants (S/4) | Sneakers (True 9)

You guys have probably noticed that I’ve been relying on a bit of a uniform lately. I’ve just had such little mental head space in recent months that I’ve slowly morphed into Steve Jobs… kidding! I could never do the same exact outfit every single day (shudder). Still, I have been relying on a formula that has made getting dressed mentally easier, while still allowing for a bit of creative outlet in the individual pieces I choose each day. The formula is: a pair of leggings, sweats, pants, or joggers (occasionally jeans, but not as often these days!) paired with a sweatshirt or sweater and sneakers… most often with a hat of some sort so I don’t have to touch my hair. 5 minute makeup and I’m ready in less than 15 minutes. It’s not that I don’t enjoy getting ready, it’s just not my priority at the moment (but I do still want to look cute!). Sezane is one of my favorite brands for casual wear, which is a little funny because they are known for their fancier tops, sweaters, dresses, and shoes. But I actually think they REALLY shine in their soft basics… like this cozy, chunky sweater and these comfy pull on pants. Both are polished and cute, but super easy to wear and feel good in. The perfect outfit when you’re on the run with your kids – and these sneakers are really great as well, which means Sezane officially makes two of my favorite pairs of sneakers. I also love that I could wear this exact outfit with a pair of booties or heels to dress it up a bit which means I can keep things fairly minimal. My ideal! Have you ever thought of Sezane for basics? If so, which are your favorites? Let us know in the comments!

Well that’s all I’ve got for you guys today! I hope you have an amazing weekend.

Until next time,

Karin
