Hey there my friends. I’m going to be very honest and tell you that the last few weeks have been HARD. Lots of stuff that I have to keep to myself for the sake of my kiddos, and then on top of it all the EXTREME cold that we’ve had and the inability to leave our house to get fresh air has really been difficult.
Because of said hardness, I’ve been feeling very nostalgic for last spring and summer… which seems a bit crazy considering that was when we were in our most extreme lockdown here. But it was WARM, and we were outside every. day. making it work and I felt like we were so connected as a family.
It was, in a lot of ways, a sweet time of existing purely as a family unit and being dependent on each other and it was kind of beautiful.
I had another post planned for today, but I’m scrapping it due to said nostalgia.
Instead, I’m going to reach into the archives and share some of the spring and summer outfits I can’t wait to wear again.
NO this post won’t fix the extreme cabin fever caused by a worldwide pandemic and cold weather, but…
hopefully it will be a tiny little bright spot in your day (and mine as I relive the memories behind the outfits) and a chance to take a break from the heaviness all around us.
Okay then! Let’s look at some past spring looks:
