New Fall Pieces from Everlane – A Few Really Great Transitional Looks

Happy Monday dear friends! We had a whirlwind of a weekend, but it was full of really good family time and I don’t regret our packed schedule from the last couple of days.

We were at the beach several times and we also made a trip to the state border and walked across a bridge to get to the other side just so we could tell our kids they had walk to a different state ha! Good, cheap fun. 🙂

But anyway! Today I’m sharing a few new fall pieces from Everlane that are great for the transition to fall weather. I’ve got a dress, a classic button down, and a great fall jacket to show you guys today so let’s get to it:

I already have this dress in white (the white is currently 20% off!), and love it so much that when I saw this floral print I knew it’d make a great addition to my wardrobe – I love that it’s a print… that’s still very much a neutral. The longer sleeve length will also make it a great transitional piece when the temps drop a bit… especially when paired with booties or high top converse. I also love a cardigan thrown over the top. The dress runs true to size and is lined. I’m 5’5″ for height reference and it hits me just above the knee (the perfect length for a mini dress IMO).

The bag is also a new to me piece and I really adore this bag – first of all it fits everything I could ever want or need ha! I’ve been using it as a beach bag lately and it’s PERFECT for that, but it would also be a great diaper bag or carry on. Or if you’re like me and you just love an oversized bag! I also love the minimal design – it’s reminiscent of some designer bags I own in the shape, but the canvas material makes it a great everyday bag.

I’m not sure what’s going on with this shirt because this print was included in the line sheet they sent to me for gifting, but it looks like the print won’t be restocking until later this fall… but I’ll still review it just in case that changes (plus they have other colors as well). I’ll be honest… when I first got this I was not impressed. I thought it was WAY too boxy to style in any way that would make it even remotely cute, but… after playing around with it a bit I actually really love it! This first way of styling it is my favorite – I think it’s perfect thrown on over a bikini top and jean shorts, and it would also translate well with a basic cami underneath instead of a bikini top. The effect is effortless and cool and I’m on board with that. I also love that the material is weighty. It drapes so well and it doesn’t wrinkle very easily so it’s a very low maintenance top. It does run big so I’d either size down or stick with your true size. I also love it styled this way:

So yes… this shirt is proving that first impressions are not always correct. 🙂

My jeans are the 90’s cheeky. Review here.

This jacket is really nice! I always love a good chore jacket, and I love that this one has slight military vibes to it plus a cinched waist option for versatility. This walnut color is also a great in between of super warm cognac and khaki green. It’ll go great with brown and black making it a true all star fall jacket. It has great pockets as well. It’s made of a really great, weighty canvas so it’ll be nice and warm. I can’t WAIT to throw this on over a chunky sweater… and speaking of that, I did size up in order to fit a sweater underneath because the vibe of this jacket is screaming to be paired with a cozy sweater.

Well that’s everything I have for you guys today! I hope you enjoyed this cozy look at some new fall pieces from Everlane. I can’t wait to see what their fall line up will be, and I’ll be sharing more of those pieces with you in the coming months.

Until next time,

Karin

Is the top blue/white striped or black and white?
