My Favorite Summer Dresses + How I’m Styling Them

Happy Friday friends! Today I’ve got a photo heavy post so I’m going to leave the intro pretty short, but I’m so excited to be sharing this roundup of my favorite summer dresses! I’ve got something for everyone whether you like neutral or bright colors, want to invest or need to keep things inexpensive… you’ll find something here. 😉

This floral print dress from Doen is so pretty! It’s one of my favorite dresses from this season. It IS very thin so beware, but I feel comfortable in it with just a nude bandeau and nude underwear. If you’re a bit more uncomfortable with a sheer dress, you’ll definitely need a slip. It’s going to make an EXCELLENT swimsuit coverup as well! I got it in an XS.

This dress from Target is SO nice! It’s made of a really soft, jersey type material and the drape on it is so pretty! It’s maxi length on my 5’5″ frame, but it’s not floor skimming which I love. It also has such fun details like the ruffle hem, and the optional waist tie. I got it in an XS.

This linen dress from Ceres Life is so pretty! It’s just a beautiful, neutral yet statement, dress. I love the wrap detail and the big puff sleeves + the fact that its a full maxi length. This dress is a STATEMENT. I have it in a S/M.

This leopard print mini dress from Madewell is a BIG favorite of mine! It’s so lightweight and breezy… perfect for warmer weather! I like that it has sleeves, and that the wrap isn’t too deep – it balances out the mini dress aspect of the dress. I got it in an XS.

I like to wear these bike shorts underneath. I found a cheaper alternative to these sandals here.

This dress from Sugar Candy Mountain is stunning! I’ve been a long time fan of the brand, and every single piece is absolutely beautiful. The linen is a good weight, and the details like the deep v-neck and the cap sleeves make an otherwise relatively simple dress so interesting. The dress runs big so I sized down to an XS.

I’ve been on the hunt for a bright red dress, and this tee dress from Target is so perfect! I love that it’s a minimal style so it really lets the color shine. The weight on the dress makes it feel much more expensive than it actually is! I love the longer sleeve and the knee length… so pretty! I sized up to a medium in this to make it look nice and relaxed, but if you prefer a more fitted look go with your true size.

This dress from Christy Dawn is just absolutely beautiful. First of all the color (goldenrod) is so vibrant and pretty and the print is so unique! I love the wrap detail at the top, the dainty little sleeves, and the boarder at the hem. Christy Dawn does dresses right and this one is no exception. I have this in a small.
