Okay friends it’s July 31 so you know what that means right? Tomorrow is August. 😉 but it also means I am wrapping up my first capsule wardrobe in a very long time so before moving on I thought I would share my final thoughts. It was good for me. I’m glad I did it. I felt… restricted, but in a really good way. It created the boundaries I needed to experience less stress around getting dressed. So I’d say it was a success!
Now with that said, I can tell that the monthly capsule is the right way to go for me because I do feel ready to switch things up a bit… but not entirely. There we still things I’m very much enjoying, but there are a few things I barely got any use out of and I’m ready to move on from those pieces to new ones that might get more use. And in case you missed my last post introducing my July capsule, the items I’m switching to aren’t brand new items, I just packed up part of my warm weather wardrobe so I’m just swapping out for things I already own.
All that to say, yes I will be continuing on into August. I have another capsule wardrobe planned that I’ll be sharing with you guys on Wednesday! But before I wrap up this post I thought it would be fun to share my top 5 outfits… and you can definitely see a theme. All 5 are low effort, easy, and there’s a certain pair of sandals that keep showing up:
