Winter 10×10 Day Four: The Half Day Outfit

Winter 10x10 Day Four Winter 10x10 Day Four

I have to admit that my winter 10×10 day four outfit lasted only half a day.

It actually is a really great outfit and super comfortable, so the problem wasn’t with the clothing… it was with the massive blizzard we got the day I wore this (Monday).

We had the girls’ one year appointment on Monday morning… which actually cut into their morning naps. Let me tell you, it is pure chaos when two twins get four shots when they’ve had zero naps and it’s right before lunch. They cried and cried. David and I were playing pass the twin because they calmed down a bit more when they were being held by me so we’d get one girl calmed down and then trade and then do the cycle all over again.

Fun times! I felt bad for whoever was in the room next to us.

Anyway, while we were in our appointment the blizzard really picked up steam and by the time we got home I was in no mood for jeans. So comfort it was!

Overall though, I like the aesthetic of this outfit. I’ve been pairing sweatshirts and sweaters under cardigans more as of late and it’s kind of fun way to mix things up. Plus sometimes I have zero time for a coat when I’m hauling babies and the cardigan gives that extra bit of warmth that lets me get by without one.

And there we have it! We’re almost half way through the challenge… how is everyone doing so far?

Also, P.S. WE ARE WEANING KIT FROM HER PACIFIER I PROMISE!!

I love this outfit! The color combo is perfect. My biggest challenge for the 10×10 is always actually leaving the house and having a reason to get out of sweats.

Haha! I totally understand that problem! I often don’t get dressed until late afternoon 😉
