Spring 10×10 Style Challenge with UnFancy and Style Bee

Hey there!

It’s a Monday and I’m uploading a blog post… I think there must be angels singing somewhere!

So if you haven’t heard yet, Caroline from UnFancy and Lee from Style Bee are hosting a spring 10×10 style challenge.

If you have no idea what I’m talking about, you can read more about the challenge here and here.

The gist of the challenge is that you choose ten clothing pieces from your wardrobe and wear only those ten pieces for ten days (how many times can I say “ten” in one sentence eh?)

Simple right?

I’ve wanted to jump in on these challenges for awhile now (they host one every season), but… life.

And I know what you’re thinking… twins, two year old, high maintenance dog? How’s that for life?

I was thinking that way as well until, well, this morning.

I decided to go for it! I think it will actually be a really good thing right now because with life as crazy as it is, I’ve got one less thing to worry about.

Plus, it’ll be fun to join the community that these challenges create.

So with that said, here are the ten pieces I’ll be working with for the next ten days (ten, ten, ten, ten, ten… ok I’ll stop acting like a ten year old now).

  1. Black and White Striped Crop Tee
  2. Linen Dress
  3. White T-Shirt
  4. Navy Blue Embroidered Blouse
  5. Gray Sweatshirt
  6. Cream Cardigan
  7. Boyfriend Jeans
  8. Skinny Jeans
  9. White Converse
  10. Black Sandals

(I linked to the non thrifted items above in case you’re interested).

Nothing too crazy. Because I’m a stay at home mom. And let’s be real, I have zero time to be getting glammed up right now.

SO yeah! Are you doing the spring 10×10 style challenge? Let me know below if you are so I can follow along with you!

Oh and I’ll do a wrap up post in a couple of weeks to let you know how it went.

Until next time,

Love this! I’ve always found that when life is the most hectic, it’s also the best time to put energy into streamlining your routine!

Isn’t that the truth? The less energy going to clothing selection right now, the better!

I love that you are doing a 10×10 challenge! I cannot wait to see what you think of it after you finish. Currently, I have some pieces that need replaced, so I would love to know what you think of the quality in the pieces you linked to after wearing them so frequently.

It was fun! I found everything wore really well! I even had to wash a few times because of baby spit up. The boxy tee from Everlane is made really well especially (better than the white v-neck, though I think the price reflects that).
