Goood day to you my friends! I’m extra chipper today because as you read this I am on a plane with my twins for a special trip to visit my parents in Florida. And I’m very excited about that… as is made obvious by that very annoyingly delivered intro. But hey, us moms have to get our laughs where we can right? Especially because the “relaxing” on the beach I’m imagining I’ll be doing is most likely a figment of my imagination considering I’m bringing two six year olds with me.
Anywho. I have some very sweet Sezane goodies to show you guys today, and of course I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that these pieces were gifted to me as part of my on going work as a Sezane partner. But I truly cannot wait to show you what I picked out this month so let us march forth with this blog post:
Outfit Details:
Sizing notes: top (small. PR), jeans (26), sandals (TTS, PR)
You’ll already know this if you read last month’s Sezane review, but lately I’ve kind of had a thing for their t-shirts with a twist… and in this case, I mean that quite literally. This t-shirt is such a great basic, but it has that fun little twist at the front that makes it so much more than a basic… and I think that’s exactly what I want in my wardrobe this summer. It just makes getting dressed so much easier when you have easy pieces like this to throw on with all of your basic denim and linen. I’m super happy with this little tee.
But really… The reason we’re all here is for this basket bag. I’ve been eyeing this bag for a little while now, and I have to say that it’s even better in person. It’s just the cutest little thing. I am such a sucker for a cute little flower print, and this happy daisy print drew me in right away. But it’s not just cute, I also love that the bag is super functional. It would be super cute to bring to a wedding or something a little bit more formal to add a bit of fun to a more dressed up occasion, but it’s big enough that you could even carry it for day-to-day use, and it’s not taking itself so seriously that it would look out of place with a little sundress or a pair of shorts and a tank top. In terms of roominess, I can fit everything I need in it including my wallet, my cell phone, my keys, and my little bag of essentials. It’s the perfect size for when I don’t need a huge tote bag. It just perfectly plays to my fun girly side. If you are someone who, like me, wears a lot of neutrals this is a great way to add a bit of fun while not abandoning your neutral color palette.
Well that’s all I’ve got for you guys today! I hope you enjoyed this little ode to a basket bag, and I hope you all have an amazing weekend that’s full of relaxation. I also hope that for myself 😜
Until next time,
Karin
