New in at Old Navy: What I’m Loving for Fall

Happy Monday friends! I’ve got a quick little new in post for you guys today. I recently picked up a few things from Old Navy, and I wanted to share them with you guys along with a little information about the pieces I chose.

But first is it Monday? Can someone please confirm for me because I feel like my days are blending together ha!

Last week was a bit hectic as Ella and Rosie started preschool, on top of Kit being in kindergarten, and… well you know the drill.

I somehow thought that once I got my kids past the toddler stage (still one more to go!), that somehow life would become a little bit easier… I mean, I knew they would still keep me busy, but I wouldn’t be dealing with the terrible two’s anymore.

Well I’m learning that easy is kind of a relative term. YES, in some regards things are easier, but the busyness that comes with having multiple children in school is a whole new ballgame.

I think maybe I need to just have a stern pep talk with myself, and remind myself that no stage of parenting is going to be easy so I just need to wash my hands of that idea, roll my sleeves up, and…

get ready.

Ha!

ANYWAY.

Back to the Old Navy post I promised you. Let’s take a look at what I got:

Shop the Look

Boots were gifted. See review here. Bag is vintage so I linked similar. Jeans are the Madewell dad jean, and they are currently sold out in this color, but I linked a similar style from another brand.

Old Navy piece I’m wearing:

Linen Blend Blazer in Flax Linen, size small

This blazer is so nice! It’s quite thin, but I actually really love that about it because it makes it so easy to wear, and it drapes in such a pretty way down from your shoulders. It’s very minimal in it’s design with the single button, and slash pockets, but it looks very modern and cool with the slightly oversized fit. I typically wear an XS in jackets because I have more narrow shoulders, but I sized up to a small to have a bit of extra room for sweaters and it fits perfectly.

Shop the Look

Hat is from James Street Co. It’s currently out of stock, but they frequently do restocks.

Old Navy pieces I’m wearing:

Mockneck 1/2 Zip Sweatshirt in Light Heather Gray, size medium

This is a really great, basic sweatshirt in a super cozy fabric. It’s SO soft and comfy. I love the added element of the zip, and the kangaroo pocket. It makes a basic a little less basic. It is a lightweight sweatshirt, but I don’t mind that because I like to layer long sleeves underneath in colder temps, and I find it more comfortable to do so when there’s less overall bulk. I ordered this in a size medium because I wanted it to be extra slouchy, but if you want it more fitted I would stay true to size.

High Waisted Elevate Powersoft Joggers in Lost in the Woods, size small

Oh my goodness you guys, I cannot sing the praises of these jogger leggings more! I am so in love with them. They feel just as nice as my Lululemon align leggings, but they have the jogger fit so they give an outfit just a little extra something. These are perfect for anyone who isn’t quite comfortable wearing leggings in an outfit (outside of working out of course!). I also love this particular color, it’s a really pretty olive/forest green color that almost looks like a mushroom gray. Kind of hard to explain, but so pretty in person.

shoes and bag are thrifted so I linked to similar. size up in these jeans, they run a bit slim/small.

Old Navy pieces I’m wearing:

Pointelle Knit V-Neck Button Front Cardigan Sweater in Graphite Heather, Size Medium

This is such a pretty sweater! It’s a very lightweight knit, which is so different than a lot of the cropped cardigans I’ve tried. I actually really love that because it hangs in such a nice way plus it’s so easy to layer since it’s not so thick and hot. I also love the little details on this sweater like the pointelle knit, and the subtle bobbling on my sleeves. I also love that it’s cropped, but a slightly longer crop than some of the other cropped cardigans I’ve seen. I was also really drawn to this cooler gray color. It’s such a pretty and versatile color as it will go with both black and brown.

I’m also linking to some other things on their site that I think are great staples for fall:

Well that’s all I’ve got for you guys today! I hope you enjoyed this little roundup of favorites from Old Navy. Fall has really shown up around here lately (as you can see in those last few photos!), and it’s so beautiful. I hope you’re enjoying the weather wherever you’re at!

Until next time,

Karin

Would you say the joggers run true to size? Thanks!
