To be honest I can’t even believe it’s time to be writing a post about back to school, but then again I say that every year. It’s true that summer always goes so fast, but the excitement that comes with the change into a cooler season is always welcome by August in our house… especially now that all four of our kids are in school.
This year we don’t have a ton of back to school shopping to do thanks to hand me downs within the siblings, but where we do have a need we’re shopping from Land’s End this year. They have such a good collection of backpacks and lunch boxes with cute prints and colors that are all made with such high quality that I know we’ll have them for the long haul. The lunch boxes too are nice and sturdy with a hard insert inside to keep things nice and protected. I also love their staples for kids like their fleece snap up pullovers – my kids love these so much. They come in bright, fun colors and they’re so cozy and warm for fall.
Land’s End also has some great fall styles for women… I swoon over these wide leg jeans! They are the perfect width, length, everything. The fabric is so soft and even though it has some stretch to it, they wear like a pair of 100% cotton pair of jeans.
This cotton jacket is a great transitional piece as well for entering colder months. It’s nice and weighty so it’ll keep you warm for a while into fall… especially when paired with a sweater like this cozy cable knit.
