Happy Friday Friends!
The weather has finally started warming up around here (when I say warming up I mean it was in the 30’s for most of last week… ha!). And while I’m tempted to celebrate and think Spring is right around the corner, I’ve lived in Minnesota long enough to know that we probably have another month of cold and snowy weather ahead.
But still! I choose to rejoice in these slightly warmer days. Normally, I don’t mind cold weather… I actually really appreciate an excuse to be cozy and snuggly for a few months of the year (and winter hikes are one of my favorite things), BUT this year I’ve been a bit restless and I think it has to do with Gabe being here, and nursing him, and it not being as easy to get out like we did before… which equals three stir crazy girls!
When things warm up, I’ll probably still be nursing Gabe but we can go on walks to the park, and play out in our pool, etc.
Anyway, there’s my super rambly way of saying that while I’m in this head space of enjoyingish the current weather, but also wishing for warmer weather, I thought I would put together some nursing friendly outfits that I’m wearing now, and then show you how I would style them for warmer weather.
Hopefully it gets us all inspired for warmer weather! But also reminds us how versatile clothing can be so we don’t feel the need to go out and buy a ton of new spring clothes. I actually encourage you to do this exercise with your own closet! What are you currently wearing, that may seem tired after wearing it for a season, that you can give new life to come spring?

Each piece is made in such a way that, well for lack of a better way of putting this, your boobs are readily available for nursing. 🙂 I’ll do a little review under each outfit for you guys.
So. Let’s get to these nursing friendly outfits:
I’m wearing the Shirt in Black/Size small. This looks like just a basic tee, but it has the signature Boob Design flap over the front that allows you to easily nurse. I’m wearing it untucked here, but what I love about this top is that you can easily tuck it in and then just pull the flap out when you’re ready to nurse. So much easier than untucking and retucking every time. All of the Boob Design clothes are made with really beautiful, weighty material. It all feels extremely well made, and they are lovely pieces to wear… this tee is no different.

This Breton Short Sleeved Top (I’m wearing a small) is probably my favorite piece that they gifted me. It’s the perfect navy and cream stripe and, like I said above, is a really high quality piece. I tried to show you the flap design in the second photo above, but underneath is a slit that you can move to the side. So genius!

This emeraldy forest green jumpsuit (I’m wearing a small) is the perfect design for nursing! You can either pull down the wrap and nurse that way, or there is a slit underneath the waistband that allows you nurse in a more discreet way. It’s made from a really nice, stretchy fabric so it’s easy to pull down either way.

This Breton dress is really similar to the Breton top, but in an inverted navy and cream stripe pattern. Like the tops, it has a flap over the front that allows you to access a slit underneath. This dress is such a genius idea! I prefer dresses to shorts in warmer weather, but with nursing dresses can be really tricky… I love that this design allows for both. I think I may also pick up their black shirt dress to carry me through warmer weather. The best part is that all of these pieces can be worn when you are no longer nursing so they aren’t nursing specific.

Overall, I’m really impressed with this brand. They are really well made pieces, and the brand is clear on their sustainability practices which makes them a great brand to purchase from. To be honest, I never thought nursing specific clothing was worth it or necessary… but now that I’ve tried them I’m hooked. Are you nursing right now? Have you tried nursing specific clothing?
