Three More Holiday Looks Before We Wrap Up 2024

Hello my friends and Merry almost Christmas! This will be my last blog post of the year (crazy!) and after this I’ll be taking a break to spend some uninterrupted time with my family. I have a few crafts planned to do over the kids’ break and we’re going to attempt gingerbread men cookies (Gabe’s request), but other than that we don’t have any plans other than being cozy together and I’m really looking forward to it… just have to get through this week though with multiple volunteering/Christmas parties/miscellaneous holiday themed activities. 😜

It seems appropriate to end the year partnering with Everlane to bring you a few different holiday looks considering Everlane and I have had a very long history of working together and I’m wrapping up my 10th year of blogging – it just feels appropriate somehow 😊. I mean you guys know how much I love Everlane and I’m always so thrilled to partner with them on these posts. They make such great staple, classic pieces and I love how you can pair their pieces in very traditional ways or have fun with your styling and come up with a more personalized outfit. I’m so thankful for the continued partnerships I’ve had with Everlane throughout my 10 years of blogging and I’m so thankful to you guys for sticking with me through so many of my ups and downs over the years.

But… I did say something about some holiday outfits so before I get too sentimental or before I ramble us straight into the New Year let’s take a look at a few cozy Holiday looks for those of us who don’t have super fancy parties to attend, but who still want to look someway festive. 😁

Sizing notes: wearing my true size in everything

This is the coziest outfit of the bunch with this amazingly soft sweater. I sized up to get this oversized fit and it’s like being wrapped in a blanket. I love this particular knit that Everlane does and this classic crewneck fit is so gorgeous. I also love the dark wash, full length version of their way high slim jeans (full review of the way high slim in my Everlane Denim Guide), it’s a different look to what I normally go for, but when you want to easily take things up a notch, a pair of jeans like these instantly will do it.

Sizing notes: sized up a size in the sweater, everything else runs true to size.

I’m a sucker for a pair of silver shoes, and even more so when they’re in Mary Jane form so this pair is my match made in Heaven. All of Everlane’s flats are so so comfortable right out of the gate and these are no different. I love these are a bit more structured and I love the stripe of texture at the edge of the shoe. It’s subtle, but it adds a lot.

These pants are silky soft and the waistband is very comfortable so you get that pajama like feel. I also love the subtle holiday nod with the green color. And to keep things subtle, there’s nothing more classic than a little black cardigan. This is my second of this style of their cardigans because they are so versatile and incredibly soft. They’re made of merino wool and feel like a cloud. I sized up to a large in this one (normally wear a medium in sweaters) to give it a slightly more relaxed fit. You can see the size medium in this post for comparison.

Finally, I had a little bit more fun with this outfit… I mean I didn’t go crazy, but you know who you’re dealing with 😂. I love the idea of a silky cami, but this time of year it’s way too cold to wear it on its own so pairing it with this gorgeous black turtleneck, which is also merino wool and so incredibly soft and cozy makes this outfit much more appealing when the temps are in the teens. Also, it has a fun 90’s vibe to it that I’m digging.

I decided to get the black version of their mid way jean – I realized I don’t have a black jean and their mid way style is my favorite… plus a wide leg black jean mimics a black pant while being just a bit more casual to wear. You can also see a full review of the mid way Jean in my denim guide.

Well that’s all I’ve got for you guys! I hope you enjoyed this last little look at some Everlane faves for the holiday season (and beyond!). I also hope you guys have the best few weeks of rest and relaxation in the coming days. I know everyone celebrates the holidays in different ways (and some will be grieving this year as well) so I just pray that however you celebrate and wherever you are that you leave 2024 feeling ready for the new year. I love you guys! I’ll see you in a few weeks. ❤️

Until next time,

Karin
