Happy Wednesday Friends! You all know that I’m a neutrals lover through and through… and that’s not going to change anytime soon. BUT there is one color that I do love to wear: bright, deep, saturated red. There is just something about a bright red that lifts my mood every time. And not surprisingly this time of year? I crave that color even more… and recently it has entered my life via the perfect red sweater dress. Not only does it lift my mood, but it’s just so festive and this year I feel like I could use a double dose of festive in my life. Plus it’s affordable and it’s from a brand that’s committed to sustainability.

You guys know how much I love my other pieces from Free Assembly (how about the jeans I couldn’t take off after I first got them?). I love that they are committed to sustainability… and that they are affordable. And I’ve loved pretty much everything I’ve tried from the line! They perfect that laid back, cool vibe that I really love, and everything is comfortable and easy to wear. This dress in particular is such a great option for the Holidays, but it will also be perfect for Valentine’s Day… or church… or just any other date night you may have planned. 🙂 I just love the design – it’s simple, and yet such a statement with the color and the sleeve detail. It’s really easy to wear and I find that simple accessories are the best option… let the dress shine! I ordered it in a size small – typically I order down in Free Assembly clothes, but I also like a little extra room in dresses with this silhouette and that was the right choice. It fits perfectly!
And if bright red is not your thing, the dress does come in 3 other really beautiful colors!
Before I leave you, there are so many good pieces in their new in section so I’ll share a few more things that caught my eye! I think I’ll be ordering this sweater vest… it’ll be so cute over a billowy white dress!
