Happy Friday friends! I’m writing this little romper roundup in the past because my family is/will have been on a camping trip over the weekend. It’s a pretty remote spot and I’m super excited to introduce the kids to that kind of camping – I don’t imagine we’ll get lots of sleep ha! But it should be a fun trip regardless. Anyway, I’m planning out my content a little bit in advance knowing that I’ll most likely come home from the trip ready to catch up on sleep. ?
Today I wanted to share 3 of my favorite styles of rompers for summer weather. I’ll be honest… I used to hate rompers/the idea of them. But for some reason, this year brought a little shift for me away from my hatred, and now I really appreciate them for the easiness they bring to my wardrobe. YES you have to deal with the whole bathroom thing (getting naked to pee ha!), but that just really doesn’t bother me and I think you should rethink your stance on that particular issue as well because…
rompers are the ultimate one and done outfit. They have the ease of a dress, but they make such a fun statement, and anytime I wear them I get compliments. And bonus: 2/3 that I’m showing you today make great swim coverups as well!
Now. The exact rompers I’m sharing today are a bit picked over (still some sizes left though so make sure to click through to see if yours is) so I thought I would focus more on the STYLE of romper, and then I’ll link some similar styles for you guys.
Okay! Let’s get to it:

I put this one first in the line up because I straight up feel like I am my mom reincarnate from the 80’s. And I’m kind of into it ha! There is something SO retro and cool feeling about this romper with the wrap style, length, and pleats on the shorts. If I really wanted to lean into that 80’s vibe I could have worn it with some sneaks and socks, but I prefer a simple brown slide sandal and a simple basket bag. It’s very retro chic, which is one of my favorite looks… and it also means it’s timeless which is something I always look for in clothing. If you are able to snag this one in your size, I’d advise that it runs true to size.

This romper is the BEST thing to wear when it’s super hot outside because it’s made of a lightweight gauzy material so it feels like a dream. I think this kind of romper is the perfect versatile piece because you could potentially dress this up with a pair of heels, but it makes the BEST swimsuit coverup so you get a lot of bang for your buck with this one. I also love it styled casually like I did here with a simple pair of slide sandals. This one runs big so I’d size down.

Shoes run a half size small
This one is definitely the most casual of the bunch, and this is what I think of when the word “romper” comes to mind. Just the ultimate cool, minimal clothing piece to wear on a really hot summer day. You could definitely wear this style as a swimsuit coverup, although I have not… I kind of prefer this style to be a super casual throw on and go piece. I love it paired with a minimal slide like I have it here, but I also think this one looks great with a pair of flip flops and a messy top knot. I wear a small in this one.
