Real Winter Outfits Day 1: Doing What Works

I’ve decided to return to daily outfit posts again for awhile.

If you saw my post yesterday, then you’ll know that I’ve been feeling a bit anxious lately. But one of my intentions for 2020 is to actually do things that will improve my anxiousness instead of trying to keep doing what’s not working.

Could be small things like picking up a few Lazy Susan’s for my spice rack… could be big things like finally figuring out a bedtime routine that works (a mom can dream right?).

Whatever it is, I want to focus on zeroing in on things that are causing me stress, and find solutions for them.

So what does that have to do with outfit posts?

Weirdly enough, the week of outfit posts kind of overwhelm me. They’re so long, and there is so much ground to cover that it can feel a bit stressful when I’m already feeling anxious.

But I also have realized that what I love showing you is real life stuff… not curated outfits or outfits I wouldn’t wear on a normal basis.

So with that in mind, my solution is to create more, but smaller posts (we’ll call them real winter outfits)… and I’ll just do that until it’s no longer serving me.

And now I need to go apply those words to some other areas of my life as well.

Before I leave you for today, a few sale alerts for you:

I’m wearing the authentic stretch cigarette jeans from Everlane, and they are currently on sale for $39. I have a review of them here if you are interested.

Tradlands is currently having an anniversary sale with 20% off already reduced prices. My favorite gray sweater and sweatshirt are on sale among a bunch of other things.
