J. Crew has always been one of my favorite places to shop year round, but especially in spring and summer. Their clothes are always so effortlessly classic, and some of my favorite warm weather pieces over the years have come from them. My sister used to work for them actually, and she introduced me to some of my favorite staples like their basic cashmere, lady day coat, and denim shorts… thanks Beck!

My first pick is this salmon pink satin top. Now to be fair, this is not the top for everyday wear with children ha! But I was lacking in the date night/dressed up top category, and this one immediately caught my eye. It’s so silky and soft, and I love the classic shape. The neckline is just low enough and the collar and wide cuffs give the right amount of interest. Plus it flares out a bit at the hem so you can wear it untucked or tucked. I got a size small and it fits perfectly.
my second pick is this corally orange linen top. The tie straps are so fun, and the length is also perfect for leaving tucked or untucked. The linen feels really nice as well! I got a size XS.
And my third pick is this pair of fisherman sandals. I love the shape of a fisherman sandal, but I don’t love that a lot of the styles available are really chunky. These are not, which I love! I have a feeling the chunky shoe trend will go out in a few years, but this pair will still be hanging around. They’re really comfy right out of the gate, and I find they run true to size.
