Welcome back to another edition of the Truncated Edit!
I know not everyone is starting to experience the bliss of fall weather yet, but here in the land of 10,000 casseroles things have cooled down quite a bit.
We actually had to turn our heater on a few nights ago! LOVE.
Today I put the last of the warm weather clothing in storage, and pulled out all of our jackets and scarves.
Which basically means that fall is officially here!
I shared my fall look book last week (thanks for all the love on that post by the way… it was really fun to put together, and I’m glad you guys enjoyed it!), but today I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite non style fall favorites. Yay!
:: I’ve finally broken my bath and body works annual fall candle tradition with these soy candles. They smell so yummy, and they last for a long time! For fall I especially love the scents “pumpkin souffle” and “apple cider.”
:: this list of foods to eat in September… I love her monthly lists!
:: it’s wool sock season you guys! My all time faves for lounging and layering under jeans and boots are these.
:: this recipe for apple cider donuts… OMG!! So good.
:: extra hydration for my skin is a necessity when it starts to get cold, so I’ve been using this super hydrating and repairing serum. I’ve been using this for years and I swear by it for getting rid of texture on my skin!
:: this tea. I’m not a fan of the pumpkin spice latte’s that everyone goes crazy for, but I DO love a good chai tea (I mix mine with coconut milk… yum!) when the weather gets cold.
:: I love nothing more than cozying up in the fall, and lately I’ve been doing so with this book after the girls go to bed. Not the easiest read, but SO good!
:: and finally! Speaking of cozying up… these sweatshirts are my absolute fave. They just sent me the gray one and it’s my fave right now!
And there you have it!
What about you? What are you loving for fall? Let me know in the comments, and we can all share a good old fashioned hygge moment!
P.S. the dress I’m wearing in these photos can be found here. It’s my favorite thing in my closet right now and I can’t wait to layer it with tights when it gets colder. If you’re in the market for a linen dress, I highly recommend it! It runs true to size.
Until next time,
Karin
