This post is not sponsored, but Everlane did gift me this dress so that I could review it for you guys. Thanks to Everlane!
Happy Thursday! Today marks the start of week 25 for this pregnancy, and I can’t believe that I only have 15 weeks left. I honestly can’t believe how fast it’s all going!
I’m getting to that point where I’m a little bit annoyed at everything which means that when all three girls are yelling at me because they need something right now, I’m finding it harder to handle ha! Breakfast was a bit rough this morning… #prayforme. Tonight we’re going to a parade so I’ll be working on my yoga breathing skills to get me through the evening. Plus side: it’s good practice for labor right?!
I posted this new Everlane Long Weekend Tee Dress on Instagram this past weekend, and a lot of you really loved it… I get it. It’s one of my new favorite pieces in my closet!
It didn’t get a lot of attention on the Everlane website, so I wanted to make sure to highlight it for you guys as a good summer dress option. I really like all of the new dress styles they’ve been releasing lately, but this style is the most “me”…
and it seems like a style a lot of you guys would like as well. So let’s get into a review!
For reference, I’m 5’5″ and my pre-pregnancy size for dresses was a 4, and I ordered this dress in a size small.
The dress has a very basic, simple design, but it’s cut really well with details that make it extra special.
I love that it’s a mid calf length because it should work for a variety of heights… it would look super cute as a maxi dress on my shorter girls and just below the knee for taller girls. The slit gives it the perfect amount of movement which makes it super comfy. I’m perfectly able to sit down cross legged with my girls because the slit allows for it.
It’s made of a really thick 100% cotton (no slips required!), but it’s really stretchy and breathable. The neckline is a little bit higher, but it’s not too high. As much as I love the look of a mockneck, they just make me too hot when it gets super warm. This is almost in mockneck territory, but it’s low enough that it doesn’t feel constricting.
The arm holes are also cut really well. They’re open enough that they won’t cut into your armpits, but they aren’t low enough that you have to wear a special bras. And the little pocket patch is a nice touch… it makes the dress just a tiny bit less basic.
I love it paired with sneakers like today, or with sandals like in my Instagram post but I also think it would be super cute for a date night with some strappy sandals.
It comes in three colors: Fatigue (which is what I’m wearing), Navy, and Light Sage (which looks like gray from the website, but I’m guessing has a slight greenish tint)… fingers crossed they release it in black! The size range is XXS-XL, and it retails for $40.
As always, I hope you found this review helpful! Let me know if you end up giving it a try, or if you have any questions that I missed.
Are you a t-shirt dress kind of girl? Or do you like something a bit more structured or romantic?
See you tomorrow… I have my one hour glucose test tomorrow, so wish me luck!

I didn’t notice this release at all and I’m on the Everlane site embarrassingly frequently. Thanks for sharing it!
I was surprised that they didn’t promote it, it’s a really good release!
