My sweater and coat (from Madewell) are no longer available so I linked to similar

Today was a gray winter day – the type where it seems like it’s going to snow at any moment, but as of this moment we’ve yet to see any snowfall. It seems like rest of the country is moving on to warmer weather, but we’re still dealing with the occasional snowfall!

But instead of fighting the weather today, I decided to channel it in an outfit inspired by the winter sky… with just a touch of spring in the lighter accents. One of the ways I’ve been infusing my outfits with freshness has been with white jeans – they add just the right amount of lightness to an outfit that makes me feel hopeful for warmer weather.

This particular pair have been very welcome lately as they are just the right amount of stretchy and very comfortable, I’ve spent the last few years really leaning into the 100% cotton trend with my jeans, but in the past few months I’ve been reaching for stretchy denim again, and it’s honestly been just what I needed to feel the inspiration to get dressed. I’m thinking of doing a roundup of the comfiest jeans I own in the next month so stay tuned for that – I have some great options that I think you’ll really love. Sometimes stretchy denim just hit right… you know?

Or at least they’re a welcome change from sweatpants. 🙂

Until next time,

Karin
