Thanks to J. Crew for sponsoring this post! #injcrew
Now that we’re in the thick of summer, I am really looking forward to the trips we have planned this summer. We’ve never taken a real vacation together as a family of 6, and while our trips will be pretty chill I’m still looking forward to a nice time of relaxing together! And of course, being the style lover that I am, I am already thinking about the outfits I’ll be wearing on said trips. 😉
There’s nothing I want to wear more on vacation than easy breezy pieces that are simple to wear and don’t require a lot of thought. J. Crew has always been a go to for those types of pieces… whether it’s their classic basics, their swimwear (I’ve been wearing J. Crew swimsuits for 15 years!) or their more trendy pieces. I always find the best summer outfits at J. Crew.
SO. Today I thought I would share two vacation ready outfits from their summer collection that I will most definitely be packing along on our upcoming trips.
Outfit Details:
Swimsuit (S) | Swim Coverups (XS) | Espadrille Slides (TTS) | Sunglasses | Necklace | Bag
Like I mentioned above, I’ve ben wearing J. Crew swimsuits for about 15 years and they have always been my favorites! The quality is there, and they always have the cutest prints and styles. My very first swimsuit was a classic black bikini, and I’m happy to introduce this ruched blue and white one piece into this year’s rotation.
It’s a really flattering swimsuit with the ruching and the seam down the front. It has moderate coverage at the bum, and it’s lined with padding at the bust so it’s very supportive. I think it’s so cute paired with these little swim shorts, but they are low in stock so if you’re interested I’d grab them quick. As for sizing, I took my regular size in the swimsuit and sized down in the swim shorts.
Outfit Details:
Dress (S) | Sandals (TTS) | Sunglasses | Bag | Earrings | Ring
Oooh I love this dress so much. It has the fun cutout detail that is really on trend right now, but in a really wearable way. You could get away with a strapless bras if you want, but the bust is lined so you really don’t need a bras. I love that you could easily throw this dress on over your swimsuit, but you could also dress it up a bit for an easy dinner like I did here.
It comes in a few prints and solids, but I love this classic blue, black and white striped version… throw on some black accessories (or white!) and you’re set. It’s adjustable at the straps and with the bow at the back so it’s perfect for all different bust sizes. I got it in a small and it’s a perfect fit!
Well that’s all I’ve got for you guys today! Will you be going on any fun vacations this year? Definitely check out the summer collection from J. Crew if you’re planning on adding any vacation pieces to your wardrobe.
Until next time,
Karin
