Weekly Three: Feat. Safari Collective, Double Grace, & Pyne & Smith

Oh goodness you guys. I am hauling donkey (sorry, I’m the 33 year old women who can’t bring herself to say the other word) to get posts up this week and also get stuff done around the house.

Because you want to know why??

David and I are going to have a kid free night on Thursday!

We’re dropping the girls off with David’s parents and we’re going to go camping.

And yes, we will roast marshmallows like we are 12. And no, we are not ashamed.

I’m pretty excited about it, but I’m also a little nervous. This will be the first time we’re leaving the twins and they are… well they’re pretty attached. I’m hoping it goes well.

We purposefully only planned to be gone one night because I didn’t think I could handle more.

Isn’t that the paradox with kids though? You can’t wait to get a break from them, but you miss them terribly when you finally do?

Sigh.

Anyway

So I took off last week while we were focusing on Everlane as a brand, but we’re back at it! Because I went back to doing just three posts a week (hello getting priorities back in place, a.k.a. three kids under three), we’re going to move this post to Wednesday and call it the weekly three.

Sound good?

This weeks three is a little bit of a mix bag. But all three are really good at what they do. SO… lets dig in!

// Pyne & Smith Clothiers

Why I chose them: They make the best linen dresses in silhouettes that flatter a lot of body shapes. They don’t offer a lot of variety, but what they do offer? They get it right. My pick as we move into cooler weather (in a month or two) is their winter day dress. It’s on my wishlist. 🙂 Also, I’m in the market for a pair of lace up boots like in this photo… any recommendations?

// Safari Collective

Why I chose them: They are a curated site with lots of goodies for house, baby, gifts, clothing… kind of a one stop shop. I love the mix of products, but it also just seems like every single thing they have on their site is really good. I love perusing the home ware section, but one of my favorite things (and another thing on my wishlist) is this nifty plant holder:

// Double Grace Clothes

Why I chose them: Their main focus is mother/daughter matching dresses so… duh. I’m totally THAT mom who loves to match with my girls, BUT the dresses are actually super cute. They are styles and prints that I would totally wear regardless of whether or not I was matching my daughters. My favorites are their floral prints, but especially this one (that’s on sale!):

What do you think? Have your heard of any of these shops? What are some ethical shops that you’ve been loving lately? Anything on your wishlist? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time,

    Have a fabulous time in your get-away!! I have really loved the things from Amour Vert this year. If I had unlimited funds I would go nuts, but alas I do not so I stuck to two tops which I love! I would like to get a few long sleeved versions for fall. I also found an Etsy shop out of Canada that carries linen tops. I bought a short sleeved one for summer but want to get a 3/4 sleeve length tunic for fall. I believe the shops name is Misses Country.

    I’ve heard of Pyne & Smith, but have never bought anything from them. I’m still struggling with ethical shops that work for me. The styles look cute online, but I’m a petite size 0-2, and the oversive boxy styling, or item with no waist definition just look ridiculous on me.

    But I will continue to admire all those who do look cute in them!

      I get that! Could you try having it tailored so it cuts in just a bit?
