Summer Capsule Wardrobe Midway Check-In

New video today!

Disclaimer: I’m still trying to figure out how to get the camera to focus on me while I’m filming (they should totally invent emoji’s for computer keyboards because I would totally insert a crying laughing face right here) and I know the sound is a bit off.

The truth is, filming YouTube videos is not as easy as I thought. I also had issues uploading it last night and finally had to go to bed so that’s why this is in your inboxes a bit later than normal.

But with that said, I’m just sharing some thoughts on how I’m doing with my summer capsule wardrobe so far and what some of my most worn pieces have been so far.

So without anything left to say, here’s the video:

Absolutely love this video! I like that you explained your capsule experience per season & your favorites, and why they’re working. I’ve attempted a capsule, but got overwhelmed and failed miserably. I think doing it per season may be the way to go. Any starter advice would be helpful. Too, I’m on a budget and moving soon to a different climate. Thanks for your blog & vlog??!

It is really easy to get overwhelmed Marti! I think for me the important part is starting small and not feeling like I have to get it SO perfect. For your situation, I would just start by getting rid of the stuff you don’t love then just be SUPER intentional and slow in adding things back in. Hope that helps!

Just saw this reply. Ok, skip perfection, keep only what I love, & be super intentional when adding back in! Ok, I can do this!!! Thanks Darling!?
