Oh hey there my wonderful friends – we’re coming off of our fall break and let me tell you, it was a really nice break from our daily routine! It’s hard to believe we’re only a month and a half into the school year because it feels like we’ve been doing this forever already. But at the same time, I cannot believe it’s already just about Halloween… which means Thanksgiving is right around the corner. This time of year just always whips on by!
I LOVE the fashion this time of year though, it’s always a bit defeating to try and look cute once it gets super frigid here so I covet this time right now when the weather is cool and calls for layers, but it’s not all about 100% practicality. It’s just pure fall fashion magic… and there are so many fun trends happening this year, with one of my very faves being the heeled loafer. This platform pair from Sezane are the pair you want to get. I mean, first of all, just look at them… stunning. I got this maroony brown color because I love the flexibility of pairing them with black or brown, but I also think the texture of the snake print is so timeless and classic and adds such a nice element to any outfit.
For me, as a mom who is with my kids 24/7, comfort is an absolute must and I have these platform loafers the 8 hour test for a day I was with my kids, ON MY FEET, the entire time. I mean sure I wasn’t racing around with them like I would in my sneakers, but my feet stayed comfortable and the only aching I experienced was at the very end of the day for about the last half hour of the day. So if you are a mom looking for a pair of heels you can wear around your kids, these are the ones. Or if you need a comfy pair of heels for work, these would be a perfect option.
I stayed true to size with my regular size 9 and they fit perfectly.
