Hello there friends! Today the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens up to everyone and so I wanted to share a little styling post with the things I picked up last week. If you missed my last post sharing what I picked up to try one, you can find that here along with all of my reviews… this post is going to show you how I styled the pieces I actually kept!
Alrighty then! Let’s get to it:

Sizing Notes: Sweater – Large, Denim – 27 (size up), Clogs – 40 (TTS)
This sweater was not in my original order, but I just kept thinking about it so I decided to go ahead and place another order. By the time I got around to it though it was already mostly sold out – it worked out well for me though because I was forced to order a couple sizes up, and I love the way it looks with the extra room! The sweater is the coziest, softest thing and I am going to LIVE in it his fall and winter – even David was impressed with how soft it is ha! It has a nice thick weight to it as well so it drapes beautifully… and I love that the silhouette is very classic, but it DOES have a really slight bell sleeve. 10/10 would recommend this one.

Sizing notes: dress – XS, Boots – TTS, Coat – small
I LOVE the way this dress looks with the lug boots! It’s the perfect combination of girly and utilitarian and I love the contrast. When it gets really cold out I’ll just throw on my fleece lined tights and a cardigan over the top of the dress and it’ll be the perfect dress to wear all fall and winter.

Sizing Notes: Coat – Small, Sweater – Medium, Boots – TTS, Jeans – 26 (TTS)
This is just such a classic cold weather outfit, and I love the contrast of the lighter wash denim with the black. These jeans are the perfect shape for the lug boots and it’s exactly what I envisioned when I wanted to add that style to my closet.

This combo is just SO good. I love wearing long cardigan’s in the cooler weather… they just keep you so cozy and warm and this one is no exception. I really love the camel paired with the black as well – it’s not something I typically do, but I think it works really well together!
And that’s it! I think I found some really good timeless staples, and I can’t wait to get some use out of these pieces this fall.
Until next time,
Karin
