Winter Capsule Outfit No. 46: Vintage Sweater & “No-No” Machine

Vintage Sweater and Purse-1 Vintage Sweater and Purse-1

After a week and a half of being sick, the girls and I finally made it out of the house today.

We went to story time (yes it is basically the only place we go), and it’s starting to be really fun because I no longer have to sit on pins and needles wondering which baby is going to freak out the loudest.

When we first started going I would have to sit and rock the carriers as hard as I could while Kit crawled all over me…

the things we do for those we love.

Now though, Ella and Rosie sit in front of me and are transfixed by the story time teacher.

It’s really sweet and fun.

As we were leaving today the teacher asked how things were going now that they are more active and (army) crawling everywhere.

We joked around that with twins, walking is a real thing to dread because there’s just no way to fully baby proof a house from two babies going in opposite directions.

I told her that they were just going to have to learn to respond to the word “no.”

She came up with the brilliant suggestion to record my voice saying “no” and then just have it on repeat at all times… basically just assume that someone needs to hear it every moment of their day.

Isn’t that brilliant?

I think I might patent the idea and then come up with some sort of “no-no” machine.

Seriously though.

And that’s where I’ll leave you for today! Ha!

P.S. still adoring this vintage sweater that I thrifted when I was pregnant with the girls. I think I’ll be tabling it for spring due to it’s weight, but I already can’t wait to pull it out for the fall.

P.S.S. Happy Valentines Day! David and I won’t be doing much tonight (probably just popcorn and the Office after the girls go to bed), but we have a date night planned for Friday! Still no idea what we’ll be doing, but it is going to be EPIC! Maybe.

P.S.S.S. Only a few more weeks before I’ll be sharing my spring capsule with you guys! I’m so excited for slightly warmer temps and the excuse to wear lighter and brighter clothing!

Who else is ready for spring?

Oh, it wasn’t so long ago when I was at storytime at the library, but the cut off age in my town is 3, then they boot them out. Whatevs.

Anyway, that’s a great sweater and looking forward to seeing your spring wardrobe.
