Spring 2018 Outfit 28: Some Mending to Do

These are one of the pairs of jeans that I took in at the waist.

It’s so incredibly refreshing to be able to repurpose clothing I already own, and make it work for me now.

There’s something very empowering about it!

It also means that I don’t have to go out and buy all new jeans every time my weight changes (yay!).

I’m so glad that I finally started sewing again. It’s been such a fun, satisfying way to spend my time.

It’s such an incredible feeling to be able to make my own clothes… that’s so weird to even say!

I always used to be someone who wanted great convenience in her clothing.

But I’ve learned that the slower the clothing is obtained, the better.

So if you’ll excuse me, I have some mending to do. 🙂
