Happy second day of the week friends! Can you believe Halloween is on Sunday?? I can’t. It just seems nuts that November is next week… so much happens so quickly once November begins… speaking of which. This week wraps up my daily capsule wardrobe posts! If you enjoyed this format, let me know in the comments and I’ll see about putting together a winter capsule wardrobe and doing a similar 30 days of outfits for you guys. After this week I will be going down to 1-2 style posts a week (to be more present with my family during the holiday season) and resuming my Sunday Series. I can’t decide if I’ll pick the series back up again with a go to breakfast post or an allergy friendly Thanksgiving menu. If you have a preference let me know! But back to today’s post… this outfit was a little outside of my comfort zone you guys! Which is funny because it’s literally a sweater, jeans, and boots. But over the knee boots? Man they felt like a risk ha! I love the look of them, and have admired them on other people for ages, but where I’m from it’s very uncommon to see people wearing them so I definitely stood out more than I’m typically comfortable with.

But after I got over that initial feeling of self consciousness, I felt really confident in this outfit. It’s pretty basic in it’s makeup, but the over the knee boots and luxe feel of this sweater really gave it an extra oomph that I found to be really satisfying. I’m excited to play around with styling these over the knee boots more as weather continues to spiral downwards. It does help that these boots are pretty comfortable – I mean you still feel like you’re walking in heels, but I was able to spend most of Sunday in them without my feet aching. I took my true size and they fit great with a pair of socks underneath. And this sweater continues to be an absolute favorite of mine! It’s SO soft (it’s crazy how soft it is), thick and comfy, and it’s just the perfect length and shape for wearing over skinny jeans and leggings. I have to force myself to wear other clothing ha! I always size down in Free People sweaters and this one was no different.
Well that’s all I’ve got for you guys today! I’ll see you tomorrow.
