Happy Wednesday friends! It’s the start of our Fall Break today, and I should have something fun planned for the kids (right??), but it happened before I could blink and I’ve got nothing ha! Gabe is still a long afternoon napper so it’s kind of hard to do the really fun things because we live far enough away from those things that it’s hard to juggle his nap on those days. But I’m sure we’ll figure a few things out, and I’m sure the kids won’t notice either way. They seem to have fun no matter what we do! And it looks like it’ll be quite a bit cooler so they may just want to bundle up and play in the cold so they can come back inside and have hot chocolate. 😉 We had our (what looks like) last really warm days at the beginning of this week and so my outfits have been all about the layering. I love a good graphic tee for days like today where it starts out really cold and ends up super warm. A graphic tee on it’s own is great, and I love how it looks layered under a cardigan…
They’re kind of foolproof in my opinion! Normally I’d pair the top part of this outfit with a plain pair of light wash jeans, but at the last minute I decided to mix things up with this slightly acid washed, distressed pair of jeans. I don’t always love a pair of statement jeans, but in this case I think they added the right amount of edge. BUT I’d also really love this outfit with a pair of light wash jeans and some sneakers. I guess that’s the whole point of a capsule wardrobe right? That everything you wear should have multiple uses and possibilities?
