My Recent Sezane Faves

Outfit Details:

Sizing Notes: I sized up to a 6 in the jacket and a size 6 in the pants. (All of the Sézane pieces were gifted to me as part of my ongoing ambassador work with them, but all thoughts and opinions are my own)

Hello my friends! Today’s a short one, but I wanted to get this posted to you now because Sézane is releasing their April collection on Sunday and I didn’t want any of my fellow Sézane devotees to miss it. Spring is my favorite time of year to shop their collections because my wardrobe takes a decidedly feminine turn this time of year and Sézane is known for their classic Parisienne feminine styles… I’m into it.

I recently chose this cropped trench from their earlier spring collections and it’s such a fun take on a classic. I still prefer my longer length jackets, but I like having a shorter jacket to reach for with all the wider leg styles of jeans and pants I’ve accrued over the years. It’s definitely the perfect combo to balance out volume and shape. If you are someone who has never felt at home in a classic trench style, but love the vibe it gives you should definitely try out the cropped version. It’s like the less fussy little sister 😆. I did size up because I like my jackets to have a little extra room and lean towards a more relaxed fit so if you prefer a more close fitting look you can definitely take your normal size.

And as for the pants, I haven’t dived into the world of Sézane pants until now and I’m really wondering why I haven’t because these pants are amazing. I’m really curious to try some of their other style now! I was a little intimidated by the sizing to be honest because their jeans are a little hard to get right with sizing (hmmm maybe a Sézane denim guide to come soon?), but I actually find these pants to fit exactly true to size. I always size up in my pants because otherwise I find they veer a little too far into office territory. With that little bit of extra bagginess you get a much more casual vibe (especially when you wear them with sneakers)… plus they are just extra comfy when you don’t have any restriction whatsoever around the waistline.

This particular pair is the perfect match for slouchy tees and sandals all spring long and I can’t wait to style them with basket bags and some gold jewelry for a casual/not casual look. I took a look at the new in section at Sézane right now and there are already some really good staple pieces with a feminine twist floating around their website. I’ll end with a roundup of some of my favorites, and I’ll be eagerly waiting to see what they have up their sleeve on Sunday 😉.

Well that’s all I’ve got for you! I can’t wait to have stretches of warmer weather to wear pretty spring clothes and get out in my garden and just do warm spring stuff again. I hope you all have the best weekend and let me know if you are eyeing anything from their April collection!

Until next time,

Karin
