Happy Wednesday friends! Do any of you feel a kind of relief when you realize you’ve made it halfway through the week? Or is that just me? Ha! We have a shortened week this week with conferences too and we’ll be having our first family gathering for the Holidays this weekend so there’s actually a lot to look forward to! I don’t know if you feel this way too, but on weeks where I’ve got a lot of other things on my mind (like showing up on time for conferences or getting all of our things packed ?), I don’t want to think a ton about what I’m wearing. I mean YES I love personal style and I love the process of getting dressed, but there are days when I want something that’s comfortable and easy and I don’t want to think about it… enter my mom uniform. These leggings are the BEST leggings for colder weather! They are made of a double knit ponte fabric that resists pilling and fading (I’ve washed them a couple of times already and they look great!). They are a lot more thick and warm than a normal pair of leggings, but they still give the look of a legging and not a pant. They’re the perfect leggings for cold weather! They sit really well on your waist, they stay in place, they’re very comfortable, and they’re nice and smoothing. These are going to be my go to leggings this fall and winter! I went for my true size 4 and they fit really well.
This sweatshirt is SO cozy, it’s the perfect throw on and go piece of clothing and I love how it looks with jeans too. The fabric is that perfect, almost vintage feeling fabric… it feels a lot like the fabric in some of my higher end sweatshirts. Just so soft and warm. I went up to a size medium to get this more oversized fit and I love the way it looks a bit slouchy, but there’s still some shape to it. I think the key to looking intentional vs. sloppy is finding comfy clothing like this that fits really well. Fit is really important! And this sweatshirt has that perfect comfy, lived in feeling while giving you shape and style with the fit.
