So let’s talk about this sweater.
We talked awhile ago about how I was going to be extra picky in my collaborations going forward so today’s post is the only clothing collaboration I’m doing for my entire winter wardrobe.
But it’s a really good one you guys.
Both this sweater and scarf are from a company called It is Well L.A.
I’ll be honest with you, the first thing that attracted me to this company was the mega cool vibe that their pieces give off. It seemed every time my eye would catch on an outfit on Instagram it was always something from It is Well.
Then when I did more research and figured out what they’re all about as a company I was super excited about the possibility of a collaboration.
Not only are their clothes ethically made in L.A., but they donate 10% of their proceeds to a charity that helps provide clean wells to communities in need. Each well can help up to 500 people, which vastly improves the quality of life for these communities.
Such a cool cause!
Ethically made, high quality clothing that gives back. A win for everyone!
The items that they gifted to me are the maxi cardigan in charcoal and the crinkled gauze scarf in french rose.
This cardigan is perfection you guys. I’ve told you before that my skin is extremely sensitive when it comes to knits, and finding ethically made knitwear that isn’t made of wool is really hard.
I love how super long this cardigan is: it hits me about mid calf (I’m 5’5″). The length makes it such a statement piece and I love how it makes any outfit interesting.
It has a slightly oversize fit so it works really well over other knitwear as well, but it’s not so baggy that it looks bulky.
It’s super soft and it’s really well made. If you are in the market for a new cardigan, I would highly suggest this one! I’m kind of a massive fan.
The scarf is also super nice. The more you wash it the softer and crinklier it gets. I kind of took a break from scarves last winter when I was pregnant with the twins and was basically a burning furnace at all times, but I’m so glad to have them back in my life this winter. This one is the perfect size and I love that it adds a pop of color to any outfit I wear.
I hope you guys check out It is Well. Even if you’re not wanting to add anything to your wardrobes at the moment, file them away for future reference because they really are a great company!
I hope you guys have a great weekend! We’re celebrating Kit’s birthday and dedicating the twins this weekend so we’ll be just a teensy bit busy! What are you guys up to?

Hope you had a great weekend! Happy birthday to Kit!! I love that scarf! Before I read anything, I was hoping that was a collab piece! haha! Super fun color that seems like it can go with lots of things!
Thanks Erin! It’s such a lovely scarf! I JUST about went with the gray scarf (because it’s me haha), but at the last minute decided on the colorful one! I’m so glad I did!
