Christmas Shopping

Christmas Shopping Christmas Shopping Christmas Shopping Christmas Shopping Christmas Shopping Christmas Shopping Christmas Shopping Christmas Shopping

You’ll have to excuse the awkward faces that I have in these pictures. I was REALLY embarrassed to be taking pictures in the Mall of America.

But, being that I have a one year old (that still feels weird to say), and my days are full of taking care of her, mamas got to squeeze her pictures in where she can.

So, awkward, embarrassed Karin you get for this post!

Your welcome.

David and I try to make it to the Mall of America every year for a bit of Christmas shopping. It’s one of the only times I can get David to go with me there, being that he avoids it like the plague.

Well, to be honest, I don’t really love it either… but now that I stay at home I recognize it’s potential for keeping Kit AND me entertained.

But I digress.

As I was saying, I was able to lure David to the mall this year with promises of Pizza Studio. Worked like a charm!

AND to top it all off, I got all my Christmas shopping done!

Major win.

I know this post is a bit fluffy and my recent posts have also been that way. Please forgive me… this time of year tends to exhaust me (even though I love it) and it’s hard to sit down and write out something super deep.

I DO have some thoughts ruminating though so I’ll be sharing those with you soon.

Until next time,

  1. It’s probably cheesy, but I’ve always wanted to experience the Mall of America! My grandparents have gone many times and it sounds incredible. It sounds like y’all had a fun day. I love the pictures. I wish I could find a camera that gets that crisp, clean look.

    1. That’s not cheesy! I still remember the first time I went… it was so magical haha! I guess that quickly gets replaced by the nightmare of parking and the insane amount of people, BUT it is still worth a visit! And thank you! we just have a basic DSLR. 🙂

  2. Your style is killer. I love it! And the pictures in the mall are actually pretty awesome. 😉

    1. Thank you Tawni! You made me feel better. 🙂

  3. I was wondering what Mall you were at! It looks like a fun place my kids would like too. Nice job getting all your Christmas shopping done. I still have a few more.

    1. Your kids would really like it I think Shann! There is SO much for kids to do at the Mall of America! And thank you!

  4. I get really embarrassed too! haha I usually love taking some fun pictures in front of colorful walls! And then when I see people drive by and stare it makes me blush! lol I thought I was the only one! haha thanks for sharing 🙂

    XO-Monica!

    1. I’m glad I’m not the only one Monica! Honestly, taking pictures of myself is my least favorite part of blogging. 🙂

  6. love the bag – and love the jacket 🙂

    1. Thanks Andi!

  7. I’m from Minnesota, so know all too well about the Mall of America. My mom loves shopping there, but I am not really into shopping at malls, so to shop in the largest one in the country was not really my thing. On the other hand, there is a lot to do there! I used to have about three shops I always had to see each time that I went.

    1. It definitely loses it’s appeal pretty fast doesn’t it?! I also has my stores that I high tail it to before leaving as fast as I can. 🙂

  8. Love your booties! This looks like such a fun outing. I have always wanted to go to the Mall of America.

    xoxo, Jenny

    1. Thank you Jenny! It was pretty fun. 🙂 And you should definitely go! It’s definitely worth a visit!
