30 Days of Summer Style Day 14: Christy Dawn Dress

And just like that it’s Sunday! This week was so busy, and it went by so quickly that I honestly can’t believe we’re about to start another week.

I have a feeling this week will fly by as well because I’m flying out to visit my friend in Arizona on Friday… BY MYSELF (yay!). I’m so excited for a girls weekend! But I’m also a little nervous about the heat. Thankfully we plan to spend most of our time by the pool, but I will be bringing linen only thank you very much.

Today we had a church picnic, and while it wasn’t necessarily super hot it was VERY muggy. This Christy Dawn dress was perfect because it’s long enough that I could sit on the lawn if I needed to, but lightweight enough that I wasn’t a sweaty mess right away. I pretty much love everything in her collection, and I’ve been a long time admirer so I’m happy to have added this dress to my wardrobe. I did buy it secondhand because her dresses are an investment, but it’s quickly become one of my favorite pieces to wear.

I’ve also really enjoyed these sandals… more than I thought I would! I bought them last year from Nisolo, and sadly they are no longer available but the strappy sandal trend is in full swing right now so there are a lot of other options out there. I just love how subtle they are, but how pretty they look on your feet. Especially in a color that matches your skin tone. If you are struggling to find a sandal style that works for you, give something like these a try!

I hope you guys have had a great weekend! I have a fun Everlane review for you guys tomorrow so stay tuned for that!

Anyone else going on any fun trips soon? Let me know in the comments where you’re going!

    Hi Karin,
Looks like somebody hacked your site. Maybe you already know, but I’m not sure if you’d notice without looking at old posts, so wanted to say something!
