Happy Monday friends! I know I said I’d get this post up yesterday, and I’m sorry I didn’t! We had a very full weekend, and it just didn’t happen… but here it is today!
As you guys know, Madewell is my go to for closet staples. Their jeans are my absolute faves, and I love their selection of basics. But Madewell is also my go to for seasonal pieces that are a bit trendier because they make trendy pieces that are still timeless… so my favorite Madewell pieces always feel fresh no matter how long I’ve had them.
This pale pink dress is the perfect example. It’s sweet and feminine, and it’s really on trend right now… but it’s not so over the top that in a few years I won’t be able to wear it. I love the lacey detail at the sleeves, and the smocked bodice. Plus its made of the softest linen blend, and it’s lined so it’s the perfect easy, breezy dress to wear for warm weather. I love it styled like this with a pair of raffia mules, but it would also look so cute with a pair of sneakers or a pair of chunky sandals. I find it runs true to size.
