Yay! First outfit post! What better way to start than to share with you a recap of my Thanksgiving. Right?!
I have to say that this outfit was a bit of a surprise. The sweater and the white top both BARELY made it into my winter capsule, but I am SO glad that they did.
I know that I mentioned I wanted to include longer tops that cover my hips so it’s a bit funny that the first outfit I’m showing you has a cropped top.
BUT, I really like the way it looks with the longer sweater over the top… I think there is a certain balance that it creates and balance is really important when it comes to layers.
And this sweater… I had a gift card to T.J. Maxx and I was planning on using it on some new socks, but the moment I laid eyes on this sweater it was love at first sight. I mean… who needs socks right?!
I just love the way that it’s a bit more refined than your average cardigan. It makes me feel a bit fancy… even though I’m super comfortable and cozy. Way to go Mr. Maxx!
And without further ado, here are a few pictures from our Thanksgiving. We had a great time… eating, laughing, eating, laughing. Glorious!
We also had a mix of Bears and Packer fans in the house so we had some fun watching the game. It was pretty much everything that Thanksgiving should be.
We’re real classy when it comes to our wine choices.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Until next time,
