I don’t remember the last time I wore jeans for more than a few hours at a time.

#realtalk

Honestly though, ever since I grew out of all of my maternity jeans at about 20 weeks I have worn leggings pretty much every day.

And if I do wear jeans, I end up changing out of them as soon as I get home.

I feel a bit silly admitting this to you because, if you’re a long time reader, then you may remember this post.

Talk about eating my own words.

But you know what? I’m happy I made the switch.

Why?

Well because leggings are just so darn comfortable.

But also because of you guys.

One of my most requested blog posts is a blog post on where to find ethically made leggings that actually fit well.

And I’ve always shied away from it because, since I wasn’t a legging person, I didn’t really have any suggestions… and I’m not going to recommend something I haven’t tried first.

So I was pretty excited to try out these leggings that Encircled sent me and I’ve been wearing them non stop since!

The thing is: I’m pretty picky about my leggings. I need to feel like there’s something “there.”

You know what I mean?

These are made out of super soft, but weighty bamboo material so they wear almost like a ponte pant (just not as structured) and they are high wasted which is great for my post twin pooch.

Plus, Encircled is a sustainable and ethically minded company so I feel good about supporting them.

So these days, you’ll find me in my postpartum uniform: Cardigan, loose t-shirt or tank, and leggings.

I guess you can call it my mom uniform.

Either way, it’s simple and comfortable and I don’t have to think about it.

Exactly what I need it to be.

What about you? What’s your current uniform? Are you a fan of leggings? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time,

*Thanks to Encircled for sponsoring this post!

Outfit Details:

Cardigan: Traded with my sister. Similar.

Tank: IMBY

Leggings: Encircled*

*I would suggest sizing down. I wear a size 6 typically and I ordered the XS. Also, they run long so I’m not sure they would work for you if you are petite.

I do love a leggings for flying or a day around the house (I find good ones at White Stuff). But I do not like showing my bum. I just can’t do it. So leggings don’t often leave the house, which is sad since they are so comfortable!

I completely agree with you, but wearing a long tunic top or sweater solves the bum problem. I’ve also been known to wear leggings with a t-shirt and a trench coat to places I don’t take off my coat, like the grocery store, hah.

I definitely would never leave the house without my bum covered! I usually do a longer tunic style tee and then a cardigan (like in this post).

I’ve just started wearing leggings all the time, they’re so comfy and versatile, I now only own two pairs of jeans and about 7 pairs of leggings and live in the leggings

Same here Izzy! I used to hate them, but then this last pregnancy totally changed my mind… that and increased body confidence has helped as well.

I love to wear jeans, but during pregnancy, jeans are not comfortable. Then I start to wear leggings. They are very comfy. So afterworth I wear leggings most time.

Yes to wearing leggings during pregnancy and postpartum! If there’s ever a time to do it, it’s during that time!
