At Home and On the Go Styles for Spring from Varley

Happy Friday my friends! The weather is sloooowly warming up here (not fast enough for me ever), so I am definitely in full on thinking about spring and summer fashion mode. I am a warm weather lover at heart and that heart is starting a little pitter patter at the thought of pulling out shorts and tanks and basking in a warm spring day…

ANYWAY.

This post is sponsored by Varley – thanks to Varley for supporting our community!

You guys witnessed me getting to know (and falling in love with) Varley this past fall and winter. I had a major craving for clothing that was comfortable, cozy, and allowed me to get through my mom tasks easily, but still look really cool. And ya know what? Varley is the epitome of all of those things. It honestly was the perfect brand to suit my need to feel comforted by clothing in a season that was difficult for our family. So I’m thrilled to partner with them today to share some pieces from their new collection that do the same thing, but for warm weather.

Okay so yeah! Let’s get to some reviews:

sizing notes: wearing a size small in both pieces and a true size 9 in the sandals

The DoubleSoft fabric in the Leigh High Neck Tank and the Alder Shorts is honestly the softest fabric I have ever put on my body and I’m so glad they are using it in their warm weather clothing because it feels amazing to wear. I just love the cut of both of these pieces because while they are both a little oversized they are still cut with enough shape that they look pulled together and cool instead of shapeless… something Varley does really well with all of their clothing. The fabric is also lightweight enough to wear in warm weather. I wouldn’t suggest sizing up in any of these pieces because they all already have a more oversized fit naturally.

This top is perfection! I love how it looks with the Alder shorts in a more casual way, but it will be so cute with a pair of jean shorts or a skirt as well. It’s made of a lightweight sweater material, and I love the cut out at the back (and the fact that you can still wear a bras with it). This would be the perfect tennis skirt to wear to the court and then out to lunch afterwards.

Out of all of the pieces I’m sharing with you, this knit top is my favorite I think. The cut is just so gorgeous – it’s the perfect amount of oversized and the v is the perfect depth. The weave is not so open that you have to wear more than a nude bras underneath it, but it would also double as a really great swimsuit coverup. I love the versatility! It also looks great with the Alder short and I love the varying texture of the open weave of the sweater and the DoubleSoft material of the shorts. The sandals are also a fun, sporty touch to all of the outfits – they’re so comfortable and the straps are really snug so they stay on really well.

Well that’s all I’ve got for you guys today! I hope these reviews were helpful and that you have the best weekend ever.

Until next time,

Karin
