Yes, I swore in the title of this post (do people still consider damn a swear word?).
But it was needed.
You know why?
Because insecurities are the worst. They hold us back from doing/being/wearing what we want.
Case in point: skinny jeans.
For the longest time, I would only wear skinny jeans if my hips were covered.
It really wasn’t until after this pregnancy that I decided to just go for it.
I’m not sure what clicked, but I just decided that I shouldn’t limit myself because of my insecurities.
I’ve actually been really inspired by this ladies videos. In particular this one where she talks about one of the style mistakes that women make is not dressing for themselves and what they like.
There is so much truth in that because when we like what we’re wearing then our confidence skyrockets.
And you know what? I like wearing skinny jeans without longer tops.
So damn you insecurities, I’m wearing what I like.

Until next time,
I am 32 and still don’t wear any pants without something covering my hips. After 2 pregnancies. Damn. Something has to change. Your posts are a constant source of inspiration.
Thanks Andrea! I’m about to turn 34, so maybe in a couple of years you’ll have similar realizations ?
