I love wearing uncomplicated clothing.
If you really look at this outfit, it’s about as uncomplicated as you can get.
Jeans, tee, cardigan. Simple right?
But what I love even more than uncomplicated clothing is when I can make my basics look more sophisticated.
And accessories are the way to do it.
The scarf, red lipstick, boots, and bag make this outfit look way more pulled together than it actually is.
I like to keep my accessories to a minimum, just like the rest of my closet, but the few, key pieces in my wardrobe are there because of their ability to elevate an outfit.
One of my biggest capsule revelations is that I don’t need a big wardrobe to look classy… just a few, well placed accessories. So simple!
