I can officially say that spring is in the air and it feels so good (that may or may not have been a reference to the most recent train wreck of a Bachelor season)… but actually it does feel really good, and this time of year the thing I love to reach for most is a good trench coat. You can’t go wrong with a classic khaki trench, but this year I’m very into classics with a twist… like this new gingham version from Everlane. It’s such a fun take on a staple, while still being very classic in it’s own way.
I appreciate that they kept the length moderate, and the little details like the exaggerated collar and the storm shield at the back. My favorite part though? The fabric is wrinkle resistant so there isn’t constant steaming like there is with so many other trench coats.
