Spring Lookbook + No More Hauls

Well hello there and happy Friday my friends. It was fun having a lengthy chat with you earlier this week about my style journey… today we’re talking spring style and because two wordy blog posts is a little much with my current capacity we’re going to keep this one short and sweet. ❤️

I’ve been accumulating some new spring pieces over the last few months and I wanted to share them with you today! I remember back in the day when I would do huge Madewell and Everlane hauls and spend a lot of money to do them (and I guess I didn’t know about the trick of buying and immediately returning clothes just to share a haul that a lot of other influencers do… that just seems a bit icky to me). I think I was doing them seasonally, which is just nuts to me now. SO many clothes that I didn’t need.

Anyway, these days my shopping philosophy has changed quite a bit. I still like to shop, but I’m much more picky with what I buy, and I can’t imagine looking at one brand and finding 10-15 things from their new collections that I’d want and actually use.

I do have a good handful of things to show you today, but like I said they’ve accumulated for several months and there’s a pretty good variety in terms of brand/price ranges – whenever I share these lookbooks I want you to look at them first as inspiration, and then if you see one or two pieces that your wardrobe would benefit from you can perhaps make a purchase (and of course I’m always so grateful when you use my affiliate links).

I just want you to be fully aware that it’s my job to shop and I am able to use a portion of my income to continue to buy clothing to show you (and I can get a tax reduction as well because I’m buying them for work).

Okay this was supposed to be short. 😆 I just think it’s important to go into these types of posts fully informed about how things work.

This is starting to sound a bit cryptic ha! Let’s just get into the look book. Links and pertinent sizing info will be at the end.

Clothes Featured:

Sizing notes: I sized up in all of the jeans except the cuffed jeans – those are true to size. Everlane pieces all run true to size as do Madewell. I sized down in the linen set and a 1/2 size down in the woven Mary Jane’s (all other shoes are TTS) . The blouses, the swimwear, and the white dress are all size small.

The woven Mary Jane’s, the Black basket bag, the white dress, and the swimsuit/coverup were all gifted.

Have a great weekend dear friends! If you have questions about any of the pieces I shared, feel free to ask me in the comment section or in Instagram!

Until next time,

Karin
