I wore this tank top back in this post. I love how versatile it is and that it doesn’t wrinkle. Like ever. That is such a key thing to look for when building your capsule wardrobe. Versatile pieces that wear really well. Creating a wardrobe of pieces like that is far better than building a wardrobe of only neutrals. You can have color and patterns, just make sure they are versatile pieces that you’ll feel really good in.
Before I leave you, I felt compelled to encourage you with this thought: your style does not define you. You are not defined by the latest trend. You are not defined by how many people “like” your pictures. You are not defined by what people say to you on Social Media. No. You are defined by who you are. You are unique. You are beautiful. You have so, so much worth and no one can take that away from you. You have deep wells of untapped potential that is unique to you. No one else can add to the world what you can add to it. Please don’t get caught up in thinking that you are less because of what you wear. Please don’t think that because you don’t have hair extensions or eyelash extensions that you are somehow less beautiful. You are beautiful and worthy just the way you are. No strings attached. Believing that truth is hard, but please fight for it. Fight to see the truth of who you are. Fight to be true to yourself. Don’t ever give in to the lie that you don’t matter. Don’t ever give in to the lie that you’ll only matter “if.” At your very worst, you are important. When no one else is looking, you are important. You matter.
