Happy Wednesday friends! I have a busy day ahead of me… i.e. I slept in a bit this morning and now need to rush to get everyone ready for school 😉 so I’m going to keep this brief today, but I do want to take a moment and share my love for a good maxi cardigan. Especially on days like we’ve been having where it’s chilly in the morning and hot in the afternoons – they are the perfect cool, but not trying too hard piece of clothing to throw on. Or in other words, they make a big statement without trying. Lately I’ve been really loving wearing them with more relaxed jeans underneath. I used to always reach for skinny jeans when I’d wear an oversized sweater on top, but I think the laidback, not trying too hard vibe you get with a pair of sneakers, relaxed jeans, and an oversized maxi cardigan thrown over everything is really chic. This one in particular just has a really cool look to it and I love how it takes a simple outfit (graphic tee, jeans, sneakers) to a whole other level. I did do an in depth review on this cardigan here so if you want more detail you can check out that blog post, but I have it in an XS/S so I definitely wouldn’t recommend sizing up.
