Well hello there friends! It’s a busy week in sales is it not? I don’t think this normally happens, but this year the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and Amazon Prime Days happened to coincide which makes my blog a busy place this week.
I waxed on way too long yesterday, so I won’t do the same today, but I did want to quickly mention a few thoughts on Amazon.
I’m not sure I’m a huge fan of Amazon ha! But truth be told, I do a fair bit of shopping there and I do really appreciate Amazon Prime Day as it’s an excellent opportunity to pick up things on my wishlist at a really good price… and it’s an especially good opportunity to get Christmas presents for a steal.
So I have some things I’m excited to share with you, but I also have a lot of fashion recs. I know some of you loathe Amazon fashion, but I’ve really come to believe that you can find good things anywhere and that the best way to be realistically mindful and sustainable in our shopping is to purchase clothing that we can afford and that we truly love and plan to get good use out of it. Not everyone can afford a Babaa sweater (coincidentally they are having their summer sale currently as well), and that’s okay. So places like Amazon fashion have their place okay? If that’s not your thing, I totally get it! You can skip this post and return at a later time. But for those of you who need/want more affordable fashion items that are good… this post is for you.
