I mentioned a few weeks ago that I’m very into classics with a twist right now. There’s something so fresh about going for a classic piece with a fun, interesting new shape… especially when those pieces really pack a punch. This trench coat from Ba&sh is exactly that – it’s a classic, but the A-line shape, 3/4 sleeves, and large shirt collar make it a lot more interesting.

You still get the effect of a classic trench, but overall it gives a really fun look. I love pairing it with a crisp pair of white jeans and a brightly colored silk scarf. It’s the perfect spring combo!

This skirt is another example of a classic with a twist – there’s nothing more classic than a floral skirt for spring, but I love the maxi length, and the subtle tiered detail. I also love that the print is bold while also remaining easy to wear. It’s a beautiful skirt to wear for spring! I’ve already worn it a handful of times with a white tee and I can’t wait to wear it with a linen tank when the weather warms up.
